PRIMARY SERVICE
Flooring
Tile, vinyl, hardwood. Clean cuts at the threshold. Subfloor prepped before a single plank goes down.
About this service
Naron specializes in flooring — that's the work he was trained on. Tile, vinyl plank (LVP/SPC), and hardwood, prepped, installed, and finished cleanly through closets, around vanities, and at every transition.
Flooring is one of the three things Naron specializes in — alongside kitchen and shower work — and it’s the line that runs through every other room he touches. The kitchen tile that meets the hardwood in the dining room. The bathroom porcelain that has to die into the vinyl in the hall. The transitions are where most installs go wrong; Naron plans for them at the consult and lands them clean at install.
Tile, vinyl plank, hardwood — three different materials, three different installation methods, all subject to the same rule: the substrate has to be right. That’s where Naron starts every flooring job.
Process
How a flooring project actually runs.
actually runs.
- 01
Consult
Naron checks subfloor condition, moisture, and level. He'll tell you straight whether the existing floor needs full removal or if you can install over it — that decision drives the budget and the result.
- 02
Estimate
Material, prep, install, transitions, and disposal — all itemized. If the subfloor needs leveling, that's called out so it's not a surprise mid-job.
- 03
Build
Demo, subfloor prep, install, finish trim. Furniture moved and protected. Dust controlled with proper containment for hardwood and tile work.
- 04
Walk-through
Final inspection of the field, transitions, and trim. No squeaks. No lippage. No gaps where the baseboard meets the floor.

Answers
Flooring — common questions.
ask Naron.
What's the right flooring for a Utah home?
Depends on the room. LVP is the workhorse for kitchens, baths, basements, and high-traffic areas — waterproof and durable. Hardwood reads warmer for living rooms and bedrooms. Tile holds up best in showers and entries. Naron will walk you through the trade-offs before you commit.
Can you install over my existing floor?
Sometimes — depends on the existing floor, the new floor's spec, and ceiling height implications at door clearances and transitions. Naron checks before quoting. When tear-out is the right call he says so straight.
Do you do refinishing on existing hardwood?
Naron's main flooring work is install and replacement. For full sand-and-refinish on an existing hardwood floor he may refer you to a specialist — but for board replacement, threshold repair, and finish patching he handles it directly.
What about subfloor problems — soft spots, squeaks, water damage?
Caught at consult. Soft spots and squeaks get addressed before the new floor goes down — re-screwing the subfloor, replacing damaged sections, sister-joisting where needed. The new floor only performs as well as what's under it.
